We’ll make GST Adoption Easy for Businesses

Marg Compusoft has enhanced its portfolio with a range of software products. The company is eying GST compliance as an opportunity for itself. According to Sudhir Singh, MD of Marg Compusoft, the company intends to make GST adoption easy for existing users and give special focus to those who are atomizing their business first time. In the new year, the company is also focusing on certain sectors such as jewellery, FMCG, Mandi etc.

DT: How was 2016 for Marg Compusoft?

A: We reached out to various associations and stakeholders from different platforms. As a result we now have the PanIndia presence. We are available in each state, in each city across the Nation.  2016 has seen the launch of several important products. Marg ERP9+, HrXpert, SFA were major launches out of few. We started our GST awareness initiative to educate SMEs and MSMEs. In September we organized a pan-India GST awareness road-show which was unique and largest of its kind. Marg Academy has also seen remarkable growth in 2016.We now have 300+ academies across the country.

DT: What is the central force which keeps partners and consumers loyal to your brand?

A: We believe that the growth of any organisation and the growth of partners are interdependent. We are always ready to support them every possible way by providing latest product updates, helping them in building infrastructure, providing financial and manpower support. We ensure approachability and accessibility for our partners. 

We provide latest trade specific solution based software which caters to the need of different trades in most affordable price. We have 500+ support centres across the country to give   our customers best experience.

DT: Is your company engaged in any Govt. projects specifically under the Digital India program? Please share details.

A: We are working in collaboration with various government programmes specially Skill India and Digital India. We have been allotted 25 cities in collaboration with Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana to set up model training centres called Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendras. Under National Digital Literacy Mission we have trained more than 10,000 people with digital technology. 

DT: Since GST has finally been passed by the central government, how will it affect your business and the economy?

A: We see GST as an immense growth opportunity. Businesses have to create a GST compliant IT infrastructure. We help them in that by providing, implementing and training a GST incorporated user friendly software in affordable price. The economy is going to see a big change. Creating a common National market and simplification of tax regime will boost trade. There will also be large scale digitization of economy and manual work will be mitigated.

DT: How does the channel help you to reach out to your potential customers? What’s your channel strength?

A: We sell our products through partners, IT enablers, CAs and STPs who directly engage with SMEs and MSMEs. These are the people dealing with our potential customers. We have 500+ support centres and 5000+ partners across the Nation.

DT: What’s your roadmap or strategy for the year 2017?

A: The implementation of GST is going to bring a great change in the economy. A large scale digitization will be needed. It brings about immense opportunity for us. We intend to make GST adoption easy for existing users and giving special focus to those who are atomizing their business first time. We are also focusing certain sectors those underserved so far like jewellery, FMCG, Mandi etc.
