The company has strongly established its foot across India with the support of its thousands of partners. The company yet sees chances of penetrating better in smaller cities with more partners. Mr. Manoj Jain, Vice-President, Microtek International Pvt. Ltd. talks to DIGITAL TERMINAL on current market and upcoming channel plans.

Q: How do you see UPS & Inverter market in this OND quarter?

A: We are not seeing quite better market this OND. We expect OND quarter to remain low as these three months are always lean season of the industry. The upcoming months will also witness elections in few states. This will also hit our industry in current quarter.

Q: What is your current campaign ‘Free in 3 years’?

A: Microtek being industry leader always believes in bringing latest and innovative technology to our consumers. Recently we have introduced a solution which saves power very effectively. Our R&D has developed technology named as IPS (Intelli Power Saving) and this has been implemented in Microtek’s entire range of inverters and ups. This technology integrates more and better components to save so much electricity as compared to others so that the inverter/ups becomes free in 3 years.

Q: How do you see your partner’s effort in making Microtek number one brand?

A: Microtek has strongest channel as compared to any other brand in India. Our partners are our strength as we have the most strong and committed network of more than 25000 dealers and distributors spread all across India. We take care of their growth and profitability and this helps us in maintaining our leadership position. Even they know that their growth lies within Microtek’s growth.

Q: What are your current channel plans?

A: Being channel driven company, we continuously work on boosting our channel strength. To reach to huge consumer demand currently we are strengthening our channel by adding more partners all across India. We are also concerned for reaching our effectively in smaller cities. We are working on to develop new segments in C and D class cities, for sales.

Q: Do you have any festive schemes for consumers and partners?

A: Yes we run certain channel incentive schemes on regular basis. To promote sales and brand, we announce state wise schemes. As festive season has just started, we have announced some festive schemes for our valuable channel partners.
