UiPath Announces The Winners of Its 2019 Automation Excellence Awards

UiPath held its first Automation Excellence Awards for the best RPA-led customer projects in India this week. Star TV, Optum Global Solutions, PWC, etc, were among the 28 winners rewarded across various categories such as BFSI, Technology and Media, Manufacturing and Retail for their outstanding and innovative usage of RPA to differentiate customer experience, improve process efficiency and scale automation.  

Reflective of UiPath’s commitment to drive hyper-automation, the Automation Excellence Awards are organized to inspire companies to think beyond the norm and explore ways RPA can be used to create impactful innovations like automating regional languages, reducing flight disruptions, and processing large amounts of data using self-healing features, etc. UiPath received nominations for more than 144 projects across organizations in the country who leveraged RPA to transform various finance, accounting and non-finance processes and to create business impact. 

Speaking on the occasion, Manish Bharti, President, UiPath India, said, “For organizations to remain adaptable in the face of digital disruption, an automation first mindset is vital. It is heartening to see so many organizations making use of RPA to achieve lasting digital transformation. The received entries were shortlisted by independent consultants basis nomination forms and site visits. The winners were selected by an independent jury, comprising of eminent UiPath customer board members and senior industry executives such as Ms. Shalini Warrier, COO and Business Head of Retail, Federal Bank; Jaspreet Bindra, Founder, Digital Matters; Mohit Thukral, Founding and Managing Partner, Vivtera; Dr, V. Raghunathan, Director, India Campus of the Schulich School of Business and Subha Swaminathan, Senior Director, Finance Controllership Operations, Asia Pacific, HP Inc.

The winners were selected based on project/process level impact, business level impact and strategic level impact. UiPath has cultivated the world’s largest RPA community exceeding 5,000 customers, including more than 50 percent of the Fortune 500 and eight of the Fortune 10, as a result of UiPath’s ease of use, scalability and open platform. UiPath’s partners have access to industry’s most comprehensive training, technology and resources.
