UC Browser Bags Top Spot in Mobile Market

UC Browser, India’s No.1 mobile browser with over 41% market share(as of 2014 year-end, according to StatCounter)received a total of 35 million shares, 5 million comments and over 1.5 million likes from its fans through the course of recently-concluded cricket league 2015. The opening and the final match saw the highest traffic with 6 out of 10 fans using UC Cricket every day of the tournament. Over 6.5 million people took part in the ‘guessing game’ contest on UC Browser. Millions of users managed to stay up-to-date on their favourite teams and players using the UC Browser application.

According to the UC Browser report, finalists Chennai and Mumbai emerged as the most popular teams. ViratKohli-led Bangalore was the third most popular team of the tournament. Delhi versus Chennai was the biggest upset of the season with 67% guesses going in favor of Chennai, according to the UC Browser report.
