ASrock was able to perform well given the lacklustre PC market. However, it is hopeful of doing better in 2016. DT had a chance to seek inputs from the company spokesperson and know about their further plans. Mr. Manoj Kriplani, Country Manager India– Asrock shares company’s future plans in India.

Q. How will you summarise the performance of your company in year 2015?

A. Given the market trends and demand, our performance was near to expectations in 2015. It was not a radically different from 2014.

This year we achieved No.1 rank in many countries including Korea and No.2 in Japan.

Q. Can you honestly tell why should consumers or partners trust your brand?

A. The only answer is ASRock quality. We offer value and quality to our customers. We offer the best of the motherboard series in India with several value added features. We use the latest components and technology in our products.

Q. What's your opinion about Government of India's 'Make-in-India' program?

A. It’s a great initiative by govt. of India, and we totally support this. If given a chance surely we would like to manufacture our products in India either on our own or in a joint venture with local OEMs.

Q. What kind of regulatory changes do you think should happen in order to improve the business ecosystem in the country?

A. One tax policy across India will help in boosting trade and business between various states. Right now there are different kinds of taxes in different parts. Rationalized tax regime will boost the business in the country.

Q. What is your assurance for providing excellent service support to your customer?

A. Service is the backbone of any brand and product. It is always our effort to offer service to our customers. We have appointed 3 service partners pan India to cover 164 locations across the country.

Q. What's your roadmap or strategy for the year 2016?

A. Motherboard is still focus on Skylake platform. We will also invest more on consumer products such as NUC, mini PCs and gaming Router G10.
