Quint Wellington Redwood helps organizations to meet their business needs with the major focus on Digital Transformation. DT interacted with Mr. Maurice Boon, CEO, Quint Wellington Redwood to know about their overall presence & strategies to boost digital transformation across leading enterprises. Read below the excerpts:

DT: How do you see the Indian market when it comes to IT consulting services?

Mr. Maurice: We look at the Indian market very specific way. Being a company which is Europe headquartered; we look at the Indian market offshore outsourcing point of view. A lot of Indian IT companies work with companies in Europe from outsourcing point of view. We see it as our mission to help the end customers in Europe, US, and also IT vendors in India to improve their relationship from service quality and innovation point of view etc. We are also building our customer base with end customers in India like Banks, Telcos, and Insurance companies. We see that they have the same need as our end customer base Europe and the US.

DT: How has been Quint Wellington Redwood’s journey so far in India?

Mr. Maurice: Originally, we started in 2004 as pure training company. Our main focus was to train the large volumes employees of our customers which were at that time mainly IT companies. Now a day, we moved next to the training into the assessment and consulting areas as well. We support our customers not just by training but also assessing the quality and results of their processes. We are advising them how to improve their service delivery.

DT: Which are the major target verticals for Quint Wellington Redwood in India?

Mr. Maurice: Our focus verticals are IT, Banking, Insurance and Telco.

DT: What will be your Go-to-market strategy for Indian market?

Mr. Maurice: Main focus we have is in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. Bangalore makes sense from IT vendor point of view. Because, most of the large IT vendors are in India are in Bangalore. Mumbai, of course from banking and insurance point of view. From Delhi we cover the rest of the verticals.

DT: How do you justify your slogan ‘Dare to Challenge’?

Mr. Maurice: We see the most important step in the digital transformation is that we need to challenge ourselves. The word ‘Dare to Challenge’ is for us is the starting point of digital transformation roadmap.

DT: Please brief us about your global achievement and market presence.

Mr. Maurice: Quint is known as a thought leader. Last 25 years, we were the first who were pushing IT and IT service management into the market as a thought leader. Last 5 to 10 years, we started with creating the Lean IT Association where we shared our IP with our clients including our competitors.  We noticed that there is need of lean management and lean thinking in IT management. Recently, we started the DevOps Agile Skills Association from the same mindset as we started the Lean IT Association. We noticed that there is a big need and a big appetite for market standard on DevOps and Agile.
