Vikram Redlapalli, Founder & CEO, RDP reveals his channel road map for year 2017.

DT: What have been the key highlights of your company during the year 2016?

A: 2016 is really a amazing year for RDP, we have evolved as most promising consumer IT brand with our recent launched affordable laptops and tablets. Prior to this we were only into enterprise computers.  Now we are working towards becoming most trusted IT brand in India.

We launched India’s first 14.1” Laptop at just 9999/- along with Intel and Microsoft support. We also launched cost effective tablets to make our presence felt in the Digital India drive. We set up 150+ service centres across India to give uncompromised after-sales service to our customers.

DT: What is the central force which keeps partners and consumers loyal to your brand?

A: As an Indian OEM we clearly understand the Indian consumer behavior. We strongly feel “Quality and After-Sales support” are the two key derivatives which set you apart in the market.

DT: Is your company engaged in any Govt. projects specifically under the Digital India program? Please share details.

A: We are working with some NGO’s in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions to provide digital life to the rural parts in these states. We will bring them into digital life with our cost effective computing devices.

DT: Since GST has finally been passed by the central government, how will it affect your business and the economy?

A: GST will give us wings to operate ourselves in all the parts of the country. Now we are unstoppable to bill and send our devices to all the parts of the country. Personally I feel GST is the one of the bold steps taken by Govt. of India. Surely it will eliminate all the challenges which are currently being faced by Indian businesses.

DT: How does the channel help you to reach out to your potential customers? What’s your channel strength?

A: For any brand, channel is the biggest medium to drive company objectives and messages directly to the consumers. We are in a process of appointing Channel Sales Managers in Tier 1 Cities.. We are very strong in corporate segment with 1000+ corporate dealers. But RDP will be increasing its presence in the consumer space and work with partners who are strong in the consumer space.

DT: What is your assurance for providing excellent service support to your customer?

A: Making customers delighted is the ultimate objective for any brand. We are committed to make our customers delighted by giving uncompromised support and by going extra mile to them so that they can help us achieve our objectives. We have set up 150+ service centers across India with dedicated customer support team.

DT: What’s your roadmap or strategy for the year 2017?
