eScan has once again won the AV-Test Certification for its Home User product, eScan Internet Security Suite 14.0. In the independent tests conducted by the AV-Test Institute, eScan Internet Security Suite with Cloud Security proved its capability to provide 100% protection to its customers as it could block all types of widespread and prevalent malware discovered in the last two months. Moreover, there was no false reading for legitimate websites and software installations.
The testing was conducted in September 2014 by AV experts under four different categories - Protection, Performance, Usability and Calculation of protection as well as repair and usability. In Protection category, experts measured the protection against Viruses, Worms or Trojan horses. Performance was quantified by the average impact of the security product on the speed of the computer during daily usage. Usability included disruptions caused by false positives and false warning messages. Finally, scores were given on the security product's Protection, Performance and Usability.
