HP Announced New Manufacturing Unit in Chennai

The tech giant HP recently announced its investment plan in India in the form of opening a new manufacturing facility. According to a news reported by IANS and published in Hindustan Times, HP will establish a new desktop and PC manufacturing plant in Chennai. As per the company’s plan, the facility is expected to be fully operational by August 2020. This new manufacturing plant is being opened in the partnership with Flex Ltd. which will manufacture the HP desktops and workstation PCs on contractual basis.

As per some reports, the new manufacturing plant in Chennai can easily adapt to the production requirement needs and scale up the manufacturing capabilities accordingly. The plant will also leverage the geographical position as the plant has easy access to the nearby ports that will ease to get raw material quickly in no time. HP has some aggressive policies and strategies aiming towards all set of customers including enterprise, SMBs, SMEs, Government and education. Therefore, this announcement will support the new target set by brand with this new production capabilities and will meet out the imminent demand.

Apparently this move by HP will further strengthen its leadership in Indian market. This announcement will also boost government Make in India initiative. HP is a very strong market player in the Indian market in overall domain where they are operating since last so many decades. The brand has been able to lead in last so many as they enjoy excellent support from traditional channel partners across India. HP has very vast and strongest partner network as compared to any other brand to offer right products to large customer base.
