Since last 6 years D-Link has witnessed steady growth with its revenue sky rocketing from Rs. 136.25 Cr. in 2010 to Rs. 700 Cr. in 2015.  As a result, D-Link has emerged as a strong networking player in the country. Today the company looks to reap on the latest tech trends such as IoT and big data through its range of solutions. TusharSinghat, ED and CEO, D-Link tells more about company’s plans.

DT: What have been the key highlights of your company during the year 2016?

A: Year 2016 was a landmark year for D-Link as we completed 30 years of building networks for people.  With passion to innovate as our core mantra, we introduced products with technological edge at regular intervals be it the extension of 11AC line-up of routers or our range of connected home devices based on Internet of Things (IoT). On enterprise front D-Link continued to engage with offices/ organizations/ institutes and helped them connect through its Wi-Fi solutions, IP surveillance, switching, and structured cabling.

DT:  What is the central force which keeps partners and consumers loyal to your brand?

A: With a legacy spanning over 30 years, D-Link today is a name to reckon with in Home & SMB/SME networking space. It is the strong brand recall, heritage, extensive product portfolio, wide-spread distribution network across the country & unparalleled support infrastructure that makes D-Link prominent networking solution provider in the country.

DT:  At what levels are you supporting  these programs?

A: As an enabler of connectivity solution and one of the leading brands, D-Link is working with partner/ system integrators at various level with both active and passive networking solution. D-Link is working closely with alliance partner MOXA on Smart city initiative and looks forward to contributing to the nation building process.

DT: How does the channel help you to reach out to your potential customers? What’s your channel strength?

A: At present D-Link has 4 National Distributors, 80+ business distributors, over 15000+ re-seller/ partners and 2000+ system integrators catering to the networking needs of customers present across the length and breadth of the country. It’s our strong business ethics and channel focus that makes D-Link one of the most preferred networking brand amongst partners and resellers.

DT: What is your assurance for providing excellent service support to your customer?

A: In addition to product development & introductions, we have also made huge investments in developing & expanding our customer support infrastructure over the years. As a result, today we reaches out to customers in 130+ cities with 220+ service points through a network of D-Link Service Centers (DSC), which is supported by D-Link Service Partners (DSP) and Partner Courier Pickup (PCP). Further D-Link offers ‘Service at your door-step’ for Broadband, Wireless and 3G Lifestyle products with D-Link Direct Service (DDS) which is also available on WhatsApp. It is our unique service support model that has enabled us to sustain our customer base & also retain our leadership position in networking technology domain.

In 2016 we introduced a new service initiative for Enterprise customers in form of AR-NBD. Advance Replacement Next Business Day Warranty (AR-NBD) by D-Link is a premium support program designed exclusively for enterprise customers, wherein it offers hassle free quick resolution through a dedicated tech support team, along with advance replacement facility to customer location at zero additional cost.
