Cyberoam Announces Dates for 2nd Edition of Inner Circle

Cyberoam, a Sophos company and a leading global provider of network security appliances, is back with its one-of-its kind initiative to converge IT veterans and security experts on a common platform - Inner Circle. This is the second edition of Inner Circle (Aug 21-Aug 22, 2015), scheduled to be hosted at Della Adventure Resort, Lonavala.

The purpose of Inner Circle is to build a community of technology specialists as their role has markedly evolved from a mere technology enabler to business outcome influencer, in recent years. As the industry prepares itself for the challenges in Cloud, Big Data, Mobility and Social Media, their experience and insights hold massive value. By organising meets and events like Inner Circle, Cyberoam constantly engages the security leadership for a discourse which covers key challenges in the modern threat landscape.

In September 2014, Inner Circle brought together over 60 CIOs and IT security C-suite executives from leading private and public organizations such as VIP industries, HPCL, Cipla, ICICI securities, JNU and more. The event saw convergence of CIOs / CXOs from mid to large-sized companies providing them with an opportunity to actively discuss industry best practices in IT and security, key challenges and contribute in developing a collaborative IT fraternity.

"We are very upbeat about repeating the success and magic of the last year’s event at Inner Circle - II." said Sunil Sharma, Vice President of Sales & Operations, India and SAARC at Cyberoam. "While security is going to remain as the central theme of Inner Circle, we want to establish it as a fun event for serious talks. We designed last year’s event with the same thought and this year again the event is designed as a heady mix of recreation and informative yet lively sessions.”

As the possibilities with technology are expanding exponentially, security is scrambling to keep up with new developments. Decision makers need to be prudent about their technology investments in such an environment as upgrading for better collaboration often overwhelms the existing security infrastructure at most offices. While businesses are aware of this dilemma, there are several instances when they have suffered due to their complacence on security. The event will try to find answers for such issues to make most of the unlimited possibilities with evolving technologies.
