Courseplay enabling quick and affordable online training management and engagement for employees across diverse sectors is focusing heavily on the mobile route. The Courseplay app, available currently for Android users, facilitates seamless training integrated with micro-learning that features quick short training modules of 3 minutes each.

A key feature of the app, however, is its push notifications feature that enables companies to send important updates to their employees’ mobile devices, keeping them engaged in real time. The iOS app will be available shortly.

Courseplay offers training opportunities to companies across the country through various devices. As mobile learning proves to be an effective learning strategy for the employees who are constantly on the move, the online training management solution is now taking its e-learning strategy to the next level by offering unified learning on its mobile interface. All the users can now sign in through their mobile devices, access the compact courses on-the-go, get push notifications with important updates that go beyond training for engagement amongst the employees. Some examples of how companies can engage with their employees over the mobile include weather alerts, safety alerts, reminders, games, and more. Soon, the mobile app will be accessible offline as well.

Commenting on the importance of m-learning, Courseplay CEO Arjun Gupta said, “With the world’s information becoming accessible at the tips of one’s fingers on mobile phones or any digital device, e-learning and on-the-job learning materials should also be reachable in a matter of seconds. Thus, mobile learning becomes a smart way for companies to deliver training programs to teams with a "feet on the street" approach. At Courseplay, we focus on simple, engaging and intuitive designs to ensure that the user finds the app easy to use. Moreover, here m-learning is not just e-learning on a mobile device but it is more about personalization and on-demand learning across multiple contexts. As a result, the educational efficiency of this delivery technique is poised to tremendously increase the return on investment of an organization’s training budget.”

Today, as every organization in India wants to have the best and the most skilled human resource for adding value to its business, the country has become the second largest market for e-learning after the United States. The sector is expected to reach $1.29 billion by 2018, growing at 17% CAGR.  This is expected to be faster than the global growth by a factor of 2x. By pursuing mobile learning, more number of businesses in India will be able to find solutions to meet the demands of employees for greater flexibility, upskilling and knowledge enhancement, which in turn might increase their chances of securing a position in the Global Fortune 500 list by the next decade.
